It was by accident, eight years ago, that Steven and Vicky met in Lisbon, New York. In August 2013, Vicky came back from her research exchange program from Eastern Europe - jet-lagged - and was pressured to join her friends at a bonfire party. Since there was nothing else to do in Lisbon before she went back to college, she gave in. Steven, too, reluctantly joined as a Designated Driver since his local friends heard about a party in Lisbon. That was the night they met, and they were instantly attracted to each other.

Since then, their journey has not been smooth. When they were in their 20s, drinking, driving fast, and not worrying about the consequences, was pure happiness. At that time, their love was strong, but their circumstances were not. Four years later, in 2017, reality finally hit them, and they realized their goals were not aligned. They both knew they had some growing up to do, so they broke off their engagement and parted ways.

Three years later they found their way back to one another. Through the hard lessons learned when they were apart, they knew they wanted to be together again. They both want a fresh, peaceful, and harmonious chapter in their life, and to join their hearts for an eternity.

This event is an informal get together where guests meet and greet each other. We want our family and friends to get a chance to mingle and have fun!
